Account Information: When you sign in with Google or Discord, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your chosen provider. We do not receive or store your passwords.

Usage Data: We track token usage, book creation activity, and feature usage to provide and improve our service.

Generated Content: Stories, illustrations, and books you create are stored in our systems to provide the service. You own your content (see Terms of Service).

Payment Information: If you purchase a subscription or token pack, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details — Stripe handles all payment data securely.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the FableMaker service
To manage your account, token balance, and subscription
To generate and store your books and illustrations
To process payments via Stripe
To send important service notifications (e.g., billing, security)
To improve the service based on aggregate usage patterns

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Supabase — Database and file storage
Stripe — Payment processing
Google / Discord — Authentication (OAuth sign-in)
Ideogram — AI image generation
Anthropic (Claude) — AI story generation

Each of these services has their own privacy policies. Your data is shared with them only as necessary to provide the service.

4. Data Retention

Your account data and generated books are retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls on our infrastructure.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and data
Export your generated books

7. Children's Privacy

FableMaker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
